If you have 1 day: examination, x-ray, and cleaning
In one visit, we usually have time to examine your teeth, take x-rays, and perform a professional cleaning. If the doctor finds cavities, one or two fillings can sometimes be placed on the same day, but this depends on your case. The procedure is as follows: you fill out a health questionnaire, an x-ray is taken using our equipment, the doctor, through our interpreter, Tatyana (Ms. Mai), explains what she sees, quotes the cost, and only then does the work begin.

Two days give you some leeway: on the first day we perform an examination, take pictures, create a plan, and perform the cleaning, and on the second day we treat the teeth the doctor deems a priority. This arrangement is also convenient because you have time to ask questions between visits and calmly decide what to do next.

What is the order in which we usually perform procedures?
We work from simple to complex: first an examination and x-ray, then a cleaning, then treatment, and only then whitening or more complex procedures. Cleanings are done earlier because the dentist needs to get a good view of the teeth and gums, and whitening is more convenient after treatment is completed. This schedule isn't rigid, and in acute pain situations, the dentist will prioritize the painful area.
What Can't Be Done in 1-3 Days
We don't want to promise the impossible, so let's be clear: some procedures require time for healing or fabrication. This includes, for example, implantation, which requires waiting for the implant to take hold, and anything else that involves multiple stages. In such cases, we recommend splitting the treatment into two parts: performing the urgent and important procedures now, and scheduling the rest for your next visit. One of our patients did just that: after her husband's treatment, she wrote that she would address her issues on her next trip to Vietnam.

When is the best time to schedule an appointment
It's best to come in the first few days of your vacation, rather than the day before your flight: this way, the doctor has ample time for follow-up visits and unexpected findings.
